So Miss A's kindergarten teacher isn't really moving her speed, although she's really enjoying learning new songs from the videos they watch. So I've started teaching her sight words at home. We've started with THE, and now TO. It's amazing watching her learn. One of her favorite past times is writing letters, stories, scribbles, in journals, on scraps. In the past it's just been a jumble of letters she's liked writing. But now that she understands that letters make words and words are spelled a certain way in order to read them right, she wants to really WRITE. So she sits here next to me asking me what to write next. One letter at a time. We're writing a story about a dragon and a little old lady (it's 3 lines long for 2 days of work).
Now Little C is starting to write. This should be fun!
