Feeling Stitchy

I love this new blog I found. You have to check it out if you like to sew or stitch. It has great tutorials and will definitely get you inspired. I was. I made these burp cloths for a friend.
The monogram detail was taken from Mique's idea.

But after seeing the ideas on the stitchy blog, I had to play along. I drew this truck from the detail in the fabric. I love how they turned out. It's so easy, you can do it too. I mounted it the same way the letter was mounted.

Finally, here are some yummy Christmas fabrics I purchased for the Festival aprons we're making. I can't wait to see how they turn out. I had so much fun getting the fabric. In a fabric store I will just walk the isles and run my hand along each bolt. I can't help it. I love to feel the fabric and imagine the possibilities. You can't tell, but there's about 30 yards there. I don't usually get to buy that much, so it was an adventure. I'll post pics of the final product.
