For those of you who haven't given up checking, I've been incommunicado for almost a week now. DH and I have been enjoying a much needed getaway in beautiful ole' Virginia. We've seen old friends, caught up on our musuems and art (enough to tide us over for a while) and reveled in the love of family and new babies. I will post pics tomorrow when we get home.
Today is Oct. 1. Usually our family tradition to is to go around the dinner table on the first of the month and say "Why I love (fill in person's name) is ..." Everyone get a chance to be told why every member of the family loves them. It's a great way to remember why we're a family. It may seem a bit corny at first, but the smiles on the kids' faces wipe that away. Try it with your family!
