Canada or Bust?

What in the world am I going to do??  I swore in high school, circa 1993, that if Hillary was ever elected as the President of this United States, I would move to Canada.  In my worst nightmare I never thought that this would be even close to reality.  But now here I am, post Super Tuesday looking at the ramifications of the votes cast.

I'm sorry if some of you are Billary fans out there, but I just can't stand the pair. And I really don't think that the Republican front runner is that much better! McCain is just a wolf in sheep's clothing.

I'm seriously depressed over this.  I've been eating chocolate all day and wandering around in my robe.  Where is our country headed?  Is it just me overreacting or do things really seem bleak?

What about you?  Could you stand for this to be the face of America for the next 4 years?

I am completely with you. I have been depressed about it as well. What is the world coming to? I just keep wondering how much more we are going to have to pay in taxes. I need some chocolate. . .

Oh Julia! That is SUCH a great photo of Hillary! heeheehee I think it perfectly captures her.

I, too, have been slightly down-in-the-dumps about Super Tuesday. I'm not a fan of McCain. As a man--I admire certain things about him very much. As a conservative political candidate--no desire for him to represent me. "A wolf in sheep's clothing" phrases it exactly.

We are in trouble. :(

p.s. I loved your Man Cold post

Couple things. I feel your pain sista. I too ate much chocolate that day and felt very discouraged. My mom was such a wreck that I guess she didn't sleep until 1am, and woke up around 5:30 so stressed about it. Yes it is scary, but it should only be for four year...sigh. Anyway on a funnier note, I have to update you on my "man cold". I showed Dan the commercial and it was quite funny again, although there is too much truth to it. There is a pile of tissues on the floor next to where he has been sitting that is obscene. Didn't we have the same cold? I sure as heck didn't throw my tissue on the floor acting as if life is so hard. Also last night he woke me up at around 3am saying he couldn't sleep. Well, that doesn't mean ya have to wake me up does it? Anyway, I find the video very comical and I have been making fun of his man cold all week. Thank heavens they don't have to be pregnant or have babies. Could you imagine? Women are awesome and we are a lot tougher than people think. Just thought you would get a kick out of my story, and also I'm sure there are many girls out there that can relate to the video. Take care.

Hi Julia! So you're thinking Canada? We were thinking Mexico--you know, giving the illegal immigrants high-fives as we cross the border!

Okay, love the picture of Hilary!

I have been telling Steve all week that we have to move if she is elected. I am just praying for Obama! Pray with me! In my eyes, anything is better than Hilary!

Julia, is this myfirst time commenting on your blog? sorry, but I am the worst at staying caught up! I'm so happy to know there are others out there who feel my pain as well. I was so saddened on Tuesday and so shocked that we couldn't pull it out in California. I'm always thinking conspiracy and I just don't get it! I was comforted a bit by Mitt's talk at CPAC today. Maybe "the wolf" will wise up ask Romney to be V.P., and then we can just hope for McCain's age to catch up with him while in office??? Just grasping at straws of hope I know.

Yeah, I am ready to vote for Obama over McCain. And Hillary fills my heart with dread.

This whole political situation has us sick!!! Did you know that on Glen Beck last night, he was saying that he would vote for Hillary before McCain? There has to be a lot that we don't know about McCain, and that is scary! Satan has a very strong grip!
