• helping my sister through early labor pains with pep talks and readings;
• coming home to happy children, anxious to see their mother;
• holding my three beautiful babies around me as they shower kisses upon my cheeks;
• pondering each birth experience I have had and marveling at the miracle of each;
• getting a call last night at 11:30 p.m., "Baby J is here, everyone is doing well."
• holding my newborn niece against my chest as her mother finally sleeps;
• examining Baby J's features and discussing in length which side of the family they show;
• dispensing nursing advice, when I, in fact, am a confirmed milk dud!
• witnessing your sister falling in love with her beautiful daughter.
"You have nothing in this world more precious than your children. When you grow old, when your hair turns white and your body grows weary, when you are prone to sit in a rocker and meditate on the things of your life, nothing will be so important as the question of how your children have turned out ... Do not trade your birthright as a mother for some bauble of passing value ... The baby you hold in your arms will grow quickly as the sunrise and the sunset of the rushing days." President Gordon B. Hinckley (Nov. 2000)

Tell Rachel congrats from me! And I can't wait to see photos!
Hi sweet friend. I love these pictures of you with your babies -- the one of you and Calvin is truly precious -- your little curl hanging down in the frame just makes it. :-)
My congrats to Miss Rachel. I miss you! Read your blog every day. :-) xoxo. J

I suck.
I CAN'T WAIT! You have such beautiful babies. Hey, did you have any of your kids without an epidural? If so, any advice. Thanks. Bri.
Hey, can I steal that quote for my blog? Love it!
Oh, your babies are so beautiful! And "milk dud,"...hee hee.
That quote by Pres. Hinckley is beautiful. I'm going to print it out.
Congrats on aunthood. My relationship changed with Jess as she became a mom (in a good way)- there's something really cool about seeing your sister in that light.
I LOVE that quote. I'm stealing it for sure.
And the pics are so cute- I love that you're wearing overalls 2 days after having Mr. M.....cool trip down memory lane!
I love this post and I love those pictures! Beautiful!
