Cuties

Couple of cuties from the kiddies (since this blog is supposed to be about them too):

On Friday afternoon I put Little C in shorts for the first time in over 6 months.  He obviously didn't remember what shorts were because he kept pulling down at the hem, saying, "Mom, pants fall down."  (Translation:  Mom, please get these pant legs down where they belong.)  After 10 minutes he stopped trying to lengthen his shorts and went about happily playing.  He gets it now.

Last night our family was at my parents house.  My mom had this great email that had a video pictures of Christ, entitled Reflections of Christ.  It was very moving, especially with the music being one of my favorite hymns, "Come Thou Font."  I was watching it and my curious little daughter came up to my elbow to watch with me.  As she was watching images of his life, she said, "I love Jesus, Mom.  I feel warm right here," and she placed her hand over her heart.  The feeling she felt was so tangible to her that she grabbed my hand and put it on her heart and said, "See, do you feel how warm it is?"   First I smiled, and then I explained her that the feeling she was feeling was the Holy Ghost giving her a testimony about Jesus.

It's moments like these that make me glad I'm a mommy.

That is possibly the sweetest testimony I have ever heard. I love that little girl.

Well, reading your blog made me get all teary. I LOVE that story. What a perfect example of how the Holy Ghost testifies. I am giving a lesson about testimony and I think I will use this story if that's OK with you. So sweet. I'm so glad you wrote this down.

Feel free Bri! I wrote it as a post because I didn't want to forget it, and this is basically the only journal I have.
