TTFN

We're off to see the Wizard ... to see about buying our own piece of OZ.

After giving birth to Mr. M, I remember walking around in a daze, looking at all the people in the world and thinking, "All of these people were birthed by some woman and cared for so they wouldn't die."  My eyes had been open and I grew.  I felt the same way when I started a business with my friend.  I would drive around town looking at all the random store fronts and marvel that each and every one started somewhere with someone's idea and hard work.  "If they can do it, surely a smart person like me can too," I told myself.  That proved harder than I thought (right Miq?).  And once again, I grew up a little.

I've felt the same gamut of emotions as we have started down this home buying process.  My eyes have been opened now to how complicated, scary and weird this whole ordeal is.  I'm amazed at how many homes are out there and that they are most likely owned by someone.   Thousands.  Millions.  If they've figured it out, surely we can too!  Right?

{silent scream}

P.S.  I'll have a full report and pics on Tuesday, but will try to post from our hotel as we go ... depending on Honey's cooperation (poor guy has to go with us).

It was seriously one of the most scary things I have ever done, but I don't regret a second of it. It took us five months to find a house. It was crazy, but I love it :) Good luck!

I can't wait to see what you will find. Being in the new location, you will have some wonderful options that you wouldn't have here so for that I am jealous. You will do awesome and I will be praying that you find the dream home. You deserve it. I am sad you will be leaving us soon though. You are a breath of fresh air to me. I will miss that at church.
