Three-and-a-half-year-old boy. Two year agreement. Likes to do what he wants. Has a sixth sense for sugar. Adept at scaling shelving, fridges and anything that stands in his way of getting what he wants. Enjoys leaving the house without notice to find playmates. Needs a binky in his mouth or hand all day long. Loves to cuddle, but only for a second. Hates baths. Loves the hose with wild abandon. Really, really loud screamer. Really.

Of course I'm kidding. But after a long day with Little C, I told DH I thought this was a good idea. He got a good chuckle out of it. And so did I. Because I could never let my Little C go. He's just been really, really challenging lately. Very independent. Going to the store has become such an ordeal with him. He wants to sit in the cart where Honey is sitting. He wants to push the cart. He wants to walk. He wants to run away. He wants the candy by the checkout. And everything I say no to (which is all of the above) is met with very loud screaming and stomping. It's quite a show stopper.

But he's 3. And three is always a much more difficult stage than the 2 year old, for me. I thinking the cure for him is a good preschool. Now if I could just find one ...

hahahahahahahaaaaaa

This is so perfect! He is truely the poster child for The Three Year Old. Nothing tires Elliot out like a good live in playmate or weekly activity. But as always, it never works out quite as perfectly as the idea first seems.

Those stubborn 3 1/2 year olds. I think I may be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel now that Cade turned 4, maybe...

Three is the worst, but I am hoping this too shall pass. I may need to be reminded of this when my three year old wakes up from her nap.
