From the Piglets

Spring Break, because of its nature, gives me ample exposure to my kids and to them, ample exposure to each other.  This scenario produced a lot of fights, some yelling and threats by dear old mom, and a couple of laughable moments.  In my effort to promote myself as superior in all things motherly, I am only recording the latter moments for posterity (don't hate me, you do it too).

Little C and Honey were the recipients of a little stomach bug through the week.  Gratefully, it didn't produce any vomit.  But plenty of the other stuff.  At one crucial interlude in the bathroom, after asking Little C if his tummy was feeling okay and I heard audible proof that it now was, he looked up at me, his little eyebrow raised to the sky and said, "Mom," long pause, "why do I have broken poops?"  "Oh, it's just gas," I explained.  "I have gas in my body?!??"  Now I hear daily about the progress of the gas in his body.  I hope he doesn't ask me to top him off next time I'm at the pump.

One particular argument between Miss A and Little C happened to be about the Golden Rule.  Miss A and I have been discussing recently the merits of her practicing the Golden Rule to those around her.

Miss A:  The Golden Rule is to do to other people as you want them to do to you.

Little C:  No, it's not.

Miss A:  Yes, it is!

Little C:  The Golden Rule is "No dogs allowed."

I can't find your email address...weird. Anyways, the raspberry boxes were made out of 2 x 8 redwood and where 12 ft long. We plan on putting 6 buses in them. Hope this helps!

Am I stingy? I know I haven't updated in a week, but where are your updates? I know things have been going on in Idaho. I expect that's why my calls go to a voicemail that can not accept any more messages. Is this guilt-ridden enough? I just need my Julia fill. I'm on empty. And P.S. I feel like it's been forever since I've seen a photo of Miss A or Mr M. Are they old enough now that they run away from the camera?

P.P.S. I just perused back to the Christmas update, where I knew there would be photos of all the kids. There is 1 between then and now. One! I am forgetting what they look like. (Not really, but that's a wee bit more dramatic, right?)
