All day Monday we tried to talk like pirates. It was, after all, International Talk Like a Pirate Day. We've celebrated this auster holiday once before, when DH dressed up like a pirate to round on patients in the ward.
The day was perfect thanks to our friend Linda who gave each of the kids a pirate shirt to wear and a fabulous treat to have after our Family Night. Pirate cake pops! Chocolate covered pirate ships! Chocolate gold coins! She even gave us the fixings to take treats out to neighborhood friends. Best friend a pirate could have ... thanks Linda!
And just for a little treat ... the crew gives you their rousing rendition of our family theme song ...

You guys are so cute. I love that Steve was right in there being silly with the kids, and that he dressed like a pirate at work! Hilarious.
So, we are really considering Boise for fellowship. If Dan doesn't get into UofU for fellowship, Boise is probably #2 on our list, and our director here knows they foot and ankle guy there really well, so there's a good chance we could come! Carl and Amber are possibly going to settle there at the end of this year!
Baby J just kind of stared confused at the computer during the song. So fun. Wish we could have celebrated the day with a ride on Pirates of the Caribbean.
Loved the song. Your family is growing up so much. Can't wait to see you all
Hmm. I left a comment yesterday -- obviously your site believes it is too good for me. I shall try again: Pure Awesomeness. I L-O-V-E Miss A's face during the song. That was priceless pirating face.
