Everything sounds and looks better when done with a British accent. Words such as fantastic, capital and smashing just don't have the same flair and character if said without the Queen's English.
Lump into the accent a little romance along the lines of the great Jane Austen, and you have for very scintillating, clean fun on a Sunday night. Women swoon when your put the power of the accent and the plot lines of Austen together. Teeth look straighter, greasy hair looks smashing and large noses shrink! The Complete Jane Austen is running on your local PBS stations. You've already missed Persuasion and Northanger Abbey, but no fear, tonight you can catch Mansfield Park:
For the complete Jane Austen's schedule check your station ... in a fortnight it's Pride and Prejudice!
Ring up your girlfriends, find a minder for the kiddies, wrap up in your favorite dressing gown. find some of your favorite nosh and cozy in to watch some good British romance. If your hubby takes a quick nip during the cinema (like mine tends to do), make sure he's aware that he might be needed for a snog (kiss) after.
Cheerio!
P.S. Everyone is puking at our house. Actually, Mr. M is the only one. He tossed his cookies a few time yesterday. Much better today, thank you for asking. But now Princess and C are playing house and every one of their babies are puking. So nice. I guess it's better to embrace the joys of motherhood earlier than later.
P.P.S. I'm officially changing Princess' name. From henceforth she shall be know as Miss A. I like the sound of it. If you say it out loud it sounds stuck up, like how she can be sometimes. In print it looks like one of Jane Austen's or Margaret Mitchell's characters. Like I'm the house slave calling them by their proper names.

I hate to say it but even though I have jumped on your running bandwagon, I can't jump on this one. I'm not gonna say never- I just don't get the obsession with all these English movies. Maybe I'm too dumb.
Also about the Ms. A thing- I think it's cute.
About the puking thing- heaven help you. I hope it's gotten better.
