Another Man's Trash

How's the packing going?  Swell.  As in my lower back and legs are swelling from the amount of time I'm bent in half, on my feet, stuffing my junk into boxes.  I hate that I've moved the "How to Make Balloon Animals" book from the 1970s five times in my life.  Or that I'm to the point of "to heck with cleaning out the junk, let's just stuff it in a box already."  I've done the fun areas already.  Those are the places that I kept neat and tidy, making them a piece of cake to pack.  It's on the the fuzzy areas of our home ... Miss A's room, the laundry room, my closet.  Blah.

So you want some of my junk?  I have a closet full of stuff that I'm parting ways with.  Some of it you might love.  Most of it you'll probably agree with me that it should go to the junkyard.  There's a broken IKEA television cabinet.  And the (nearly) broken TV to go on it.  There's a quilt rack, complete with heart cutouts on the side.  Lots of blankets.  Some books.  A large wicker chair.  You get the picture.  Actually, if I can, I'll post some pictures tomorrow or a link to cragislist listing for those that actually want to add these rocks into their backpacks.

Until tomorrow.  Now to get back to the "bend and stuff" portion of our program.

Hey Julia, If it's that large whicker chair on the front porch, I will happily take it off your hands! You know I have always loved it. Just let me know your asking price and I will drop by. Ahng in there with the de-junking, you will so appreciate it when you don't have to find a new spot for old junk! Talk to you soon, Andrea

Let me know and I'll post it on the RS blog. Are you selling the stuff or giving it away?

I held that VERY SAME BOOK in my hands just yesterday and wondered..."WHY ON EARTH DO WE HAVE THIS BOOK?!" Yesterday, it was my straw-that-broke-the-camel's-back. We, too, have moved the same junk for the past decade-plus. Now, I just move it from one room to the next... When will the madness stop? Have fun purging your things. Maybe we need to move again to "clean house"...
