Take one piece of white bread and remove the crust all the way around, in one piece. Roll the crust string up in a neat cinnamon-like roll. Eat it in two or three bites, keeping it pinched together. Pick up soft, fluffy middle of bread and squash it. Mush it and push it into a dense ball. Admire the ball. Eat it in two or three bites.
That was my favorite way to eat bread as a child.

Ha ha! Just a few days ago I was just thinking about the mashed balls of bread I ate as a child and I how much I like it. I also wondered where in the world I got the idea to eat it like that!!! Glad I'm not the only one! Ahh, memories!
Mmm. Me too. Something about the dense bread. I still like squishing dinner roll bites between my fingers to make them more dense.
My sister did that ALL the Time!
Weirdos.
J/K :)
I used to do that too (except I threw the crust away)! How funny! :)
Me TOO! the ball was my favorite
Miles just ate his bed-night snack exactly like that. Ha! You funny people.
I used to do that too- not the crust part, but the ball part. I didn't know I was in such good company!
I would LOVE to coordinate getting together with you and the others in Utah. As of now, I'm planning to be in UT those dates, and i don't have my AZ part of the trip planned yet (as in , I may not go there and opt for my parents to hang out with me in UT and DC).
good luck with the packing! I am hating it right now too!
