Little C has already been talking a lot about Christmas. Just last night he said to me:
C: Mom, when it's Christmas I want to open my presents and no yelling.
Me: (thinking about last Christmas with all of my siblings and their families at my parents' house trying to remember if we fought a lot with one another) Yelling?
C: Yeah. A Christmas with no yelling.
Me: What do you mean?
C: You know, where I get my presents and no one is saying, "C here is a present for you!!" "C don't open it, it's not your turn!" Where I get my presents and just open them up and see what's inside.
Ahh. A Christmas without order. A child's true dream.
Is anyone else dying to decorate for Christmas already? Maybe it's just me, since this year I actually have some decorations to put up. Get to the end of November already!

I want to Christmas shop, but not decorate yet. :)
I Love Little C's comment. So cute.
Oh, I've already got my first Christmas post ready in my head. And the kids got the Christmas box out. They've decorated the little tree in angels this year. For now.
Yes. I do. But first I want to finish making my adorable Thanksgiving decorations, have them up for almost all of November (Christmas goes up the DAY after Thanksgiving). Little C. We had a Christmas like that once, remember? When I was pregnant with Jane? Since we were childless, Lane and I just stood back and watched chaos consume. It was AWE-some.
Love C's comments. So awesome.
So I'm not ready to decorate yet, but the music is definitely blaring in my car (Dave doesn't like it this early). At work, we had a whole debate on our Facebook page on when is acceptable to start playing music. Everyone has an opinion. But I say, if you want to listen to music (or decorate) find a small area in which to indulge your fancy. It will make you happy.
